Over priced and if I'm paying almost $6 for half of a sandwich, it should at least be put together and look presentable when I unwrap it, not just thrown into the wrapper with some bread and sent off. Seriously, who doesn't know how to make a sandwich? Plus, it took way too long for them to come to the window when there was hardly any other customers. Pay attention to your customers and always take pride in the presentation of your food. Get off your phone you're not getting get paid to be on snapchat.
Service quality has fluctuated, but 99% of the time I've been there its has been awful. Cashiers don't let you finish your order before going through their pre-prepared spiel. It often takes two tries to get the order correct. Food is pricey but you can't expect anything else from a panera. If you're looking for everything bagels though you better come EARLY because they are almost always out by lunch. Souffles tend to close or run out early as well. I'd almost rather spend the extra gas money to visit the one in Huntington.
The Teays Valley location is one of the worst run locations I have ever been to. Frequently out of items but the worst is the online ordering. Out of the last 5 orders I have placed, 5 have not been ready for pickup. The manager there got upset he had to stop what he was doing to get my order ready. We had words because his attitude was so outlandishly rude. Seriously, this guy needs to lose his job over this. His boss will be hearing from me. Oh and the food was slopped together and incorrect. EDIT: just got an order and the soup was only half full
I give it two stars because the food is typically good, although it is not always the correct order. The service is frustratingly slow even when there are no other customers. We have gone to this location twice only to be told it was closed early for things like the Super Bowl or a staff meeting. People who want to make money will be open when they say their hours are.
First time eating at a Panera Bread. The service was fast and friendly. My food was thrown together and didn't have much of anything on it for the price I paid. My food didn't taste that good either. I really wanted to like this place. My wife did like her sandwich and salad. My daughter liked her soup. I tried a little bit of everything and it didn't taste good to me. The soup tasted like dirty potatoes and my wife's salad had a weird flavor. The manager did refund me for my sandwich and they took it back. They offered to replace it but I just asked for my money back. They do not provide a military discount.
